Hey guys! I’m new here and am soon going to start a blog on this website about Tourette’s and OCD. I assume most of you in this group either have OCD or have a child with it. What is your OCD story?

my son still hasn’t got a handle on pulling out his hair, it’s so sad, I notice it more when he is stressed out , over the summer it was growing back but as the year for school started again he started pulling again… any suggestions

You could give him something to fidget with to keep his hands busy, tell him when he is doing it to interrupt the process or keep hair short to reduce the amount of hair he can pull. I hope these help.

we have actually used a cushball for the pulling he uses it more at school and luckily his school has allowed him to wear a hat inside so he is not picked on by other students.. we have shaved his head many times and continue too do this.. it starts to grow back and out of nowhere it starts again.. one day at a time.. it get’s…[Read more]
